Will the Spanish and UK Tourist Industry Always Be Safe?
As the financial crisis begins to recover people start to look at booking a trip away. A vast amount of people have already cancelled their holidays abroad.
But a lot of people have defied the advice and carried on to book their holiday, but the latest trend seems to be too just to visit to home countries. That is either to holiday at home in Britain or to go a bit further out and visit the good old traditional Spain. 2009 has been a bad year for tourism, most countries have seen a massive drop in bookings and the only ones that are doing well are the UK and Spain.
But a lot of people have made their minds up that they want to be a lot closer to home for a few reason. Let us have a quick glance at the main ones.
1) By staying in the UK it will help the British economy recover alot faster then people splashing their money put to overseas destinations.
2) With the drop in value of the pound people believe that it will be much more expensive to travel abroad then it would to stay in a home country.
3) Spain is well known as being very similar to Britain so it is trusted by a lot of folk, a lot of people decide to visit Spain simply because the weather is said to be a lot better. As well as that as vast majority of people now have their own holiday homes in Spain.
In my opinion no matter what really happens to the economy holidays are a must and resorts that are based in the UK and in Spain will always be safe
